Summer is here! Bato Springs is the perfect place to keep cool this summer. It's just a few hours away from Manila and so affordable. The intersection going to this place is just after Meralco at the left side when traversing the National Road to Bicol. Once you turn left in the intersection with a big Bato Springs signage, you can just ask the friendly locals for the exact location.
It was summer of 2014 when we went there so as expected, there were a lot of people. But still, the flowing water from Mt Banahaw is so cold and refreshing. The resort made artificial small waterfalls out of it. The entrance fee was only under P100. There were small cottages for day tour and bigger cottages and pavilions for those who would like to stay overnight. There's a deep part for adults and a shallow part with small waterfalls which is perfect and safe for kids and non swimmers. The kids had so much fun!
