Ngong Ping 360 in Hong Kong

It was raining (and Chinese New Year) when we went to Ngong Ping 360 in Lantau Island. We took the train going to Tung Chung Station and from there we proceeded to the cable car terminal going to Ngong Ping 360. The line to the cable car ride was very long since it was a holiday but it was all worth it because the ride itself was breathtaking and picturesque. We arrived at the Ngong Ping Village where there were many shops and restaurants. We took the many plight of stairs going to the big Tian Tan Buddha. If it wasn't raining, I'm sure it was a more spectacular view. We dropped by Po Lin Monastery and said our prayers. Going back to the cable car station was a pain since the line was longer, it was raining and we were cold. We each grabbed a cup of Starbucks coffee to keep warm while in the queue.
