Seawalker Adventure

Seawalking or Helmet Diving is a popular water activity in LapuLapu City, Cebu. A helmet, which looks like an astronaut's helmet is attached to an air tank which is worn underwater. The helmet is 30 kilograms in weight but will weigh only around 3 kilograms once submerged. Seawalking is done at a deep of around 30 feet. This is a totally safe water activity and you don't have to be a swimmer to do this. I don't even know how to swim!

The cottage buoy where sea walking jumps off is around 100 meters from the shore.  We have to ride a speed boat to get there. We have undergone a brief seminar about hand signs and some do's and don'ts. Aside from sea walking, we had swimming and jet skiing.  There are also other activities like para sailing, banana boat, island hopping and more.  If you're interested, just comment your queries below and I can recommend you to the dive center so you can also experience the underwater world.
