Vigan is considered as one of the most beautiful cities in the Philippines and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Vigan is able to preserve it's Spanish trading town environ and was able to survive the test of time and the bombings of World War II. Old Spanish Colonial Mansions still line up the cobblestone streets which is a reminiscent of the grandeur of the Spanish times.
Vigan, Ilocos Sur is around 8 hours away from Metro Manila. Aside from the famous Calle Crisologo, there are also many attractions inside the heritage city like the Syquia Mansion, Crisologo Museum, Vigan Cathedral, Loom Weaving, Hidden Garden, Ruby Pottery and one should never miss the known Irene's Empanada and Vigan longganisa.
