Mt Polis is the boundary of Ifugao and Mountain Province. At 6,215 feet (the Highest Point of the Philippine Highway System is 7400 feet), Mt Polis is the 3rd highest peak in the Ifugao Province. Everybody travelling along the Bontoc - Banaue route in Halsema Highway will never miss this traditional stopover because of the huge statue of the Virgin Mary beside some telecom towers and a police station. One can quickly grab a bite from the food stalls and 'carenderias', drop by the souvenir shops, take some obligatory jump shots, selfies and what nots or simply savor the fresh air or be amazed by the giant green mountains of the Cordilleras.
