Amphawa Floating Market in Samut Songkhram, Thailand

It was a weekday and it was raining when we went to the Amphawa Floating Market in Samut Songkhram so we miss out the fun of being in a crowded floating market just like in the pictures that we saw online.  But nonetheless, I've read online that this floating market is one of the oldest in Thailand and even won the 2008 UNESCO Asia-Pacific Heritage Awards for Culture Heritage Conservation.  And by the way, it was expensive at 1500 Baht per head just for the motorized boat and our tour guide.
