Angkor Wat - Siem Reap, Cambodia

Angkor Wat is a moated temple complex in Cambodia and the largest religious monument in the whole world.  The temple was originally Hindu and built by King Suryavarman I in the early 12th century as the capital of the Khmer Temple, his state temple and finally his mausoleum.  In the 13th century, the temple moved from a Hindu temple to a Buddhist temple.  Nowadays, Angkor Wat is flocked by tourists from all around the globe after it was restored then opened to the public in the early 90's.
